IBM Z Table Accelerator allows organizations running large scale transaction-processing mainframe
workloads to address ongoing issues with changes to business rules as well as dramatically improving
application processing speed, resulting in the optimized return on computer resources. IBM Z Table
Accelerator outperforms a stand-alone DBMS by an order of magnitude, typically 10 – 25 times faster. The
benefit is not only faster running applications but also a reduced urgency and scale of future hardware
upgrades.
