Hi,
Greetings from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (www.srfti.ac.in), a premier film school
in India under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
We take this opportunity to invite your institution to send in entries for the 6th edition of
Clapstick International Students’ Film Festival. Clapstick is the biennial international
event of the Institute which showcases the best student films from various international film and
media schools. The 6th edition of Clapstick will be held in our campus at Kolkata from January
28, 2022 – January 30, 2022. Clapstick is a platform for exchange and sharing of thoughts
among students and faculty members and we expect participation from major film / media
institutions.
Each institution may send their student projects / diploma films / dissertation works in fiction,
non-fiction and animation categories. The films should not be less than 8 minutes and preferably
be within 30 minutes duration. All submitted films must carry English subtitles. The total
combined duration of the package of all films sent by an institute should not exceed 02 (Two)
hours. Films should be made within last 03 (Three) calendar years. Please complete your online
submission by November 30, 2021 at http://clapstick.srfti.ac.in/. You can also register
and submit your film details at http://clapstick.srfti.ac.in/register.php. The data for every
single film should be filled up as an individual entry in the website for the package of films.
A list of the selected films will be uploaded on the website by December 15, 2021 and accordingly
the institutions will also be informed via email.
