Problem
What is the reason for PanelView
Component and PanelView 800 error:

Data Access Error for Alias xxx,
Controller yyy, Address is zzz

PanelView Component or PanelView 800 in

run mode returns the errors:

Data access Error Communication flag
is 0 on all the tags

Data Access Error for Alias xxx,
Controller yyy, Address is zzz

Solution 1
This error can occur if the Ethernet IP
address as configured in the PanelView
Component Communication, Driver,
or Address field does not match the actual
IP address of the intended target PLC.

Solution 2
It can also be because of a project created in
an older version of CCW downloaded into a
newer version of Micro 800.In that case we
need to export all the program
components, create a new project with new
controller revision and re import it back.To
check we need to view Controller-General

tab and look for Controller project version.

Solution 3
On the terminal itself, the Ethernet driver on
the Communications tab had the Port set to
0 and not 44818. Change that Port value
back to 44818.

Solution 4
Make sure that the correct Controller
Type is chosen on the Communications tab

Solution 5
The PLC serial port is not set the same as
the PanelView Component port.

Check baud, DF1 vs DH-485 etc.

Solution 6
The error can occur if External Access of
the PLC tag is set to None, it should be set
to Read/Write
