POWER OFF ‘When you turn off the power switch, your JUE-75C remains still powered on and tries to log-out automatically then is turned off after Log-out sequence regardless of results. 41 4.1.1 Power ON ‘The JUE-75C MES starts tuning to an NCS common channel automatically with the indica- tion “Tune” at the first Tine in about 5 seconds after turning the MES on. Then the MES initiates 1 log-in request to the NCS as soon as the MES acquires the synchronization of the NCS com- ‘mon channel. When the log-in request is the first attempt after the MES is installed, the automatic commis- sioning test (performance test) will be started by the NCS. ‘After completion of the log-in request and commissioning test subsequent to the first log. the first line of the screen indicates as the following example: Ready Rec(POR): Good-15 93-05-08-15:24 (UTC) Before turning on all power switches of JUE-75C, confirm the all signal cables and power cables are connected correctly. (1). Caring for disks + Do not slide back the disk’s protective metal cover nor touch the disk’s magnetic surface. Fingerprints may prevent the disk drive from reading data from the disk. *+ Data may be lost if the disk is twisted, bent, or dropped sharply, or if it is exposed to direct sunlight, or extreme heat or cold. + Do not place heavy objects on your disks + Magnetic energy can destroy the data on your disks. So keep your disks away from loud-speakers, printers, and television sets. 2) Write-protecting disks Any disk that contains data you cannot afford to lose should be protected from accidental erasure. Sliding the disk’s write-protect tab (0 its outermost position, write protects the disk. Data on a write-protected disk cannot be erased or altered by a disk drive. To write-protect a disk, slide the write-protect tab to the outermost position You should be able to see through the write-protect openning, To write-enable a disk, slide the write-protect tab to the innermost position. ‘The write-protect openning should be covered.
