Currency units in various countries

There are 4 different coins, 10 won, 50 won, 100 won and 500 won, used in Korea. Each coin is
imprinted with symbolic icon such as Dabo pagoda on 10 won, ears of rice on 50 won, General Lee
Soon Shin on 100 won, and crane on 500 won.

As for the notes, there are 4 different notes, 1000 won note, 5000 won note, 10,000 won note and
50,000 won note. Each note is imprinted with representative historical figure such as Lee Hwang
(famous academic of Joseon Dynasty）on 1,000 won note, Lee Lee (famous academic of Joseon
Dynasty) on 5,000 won, King Sejong (invented Korean alphabet) on 10,000 won note and Shin Sa Im
Dang (artist of Joseon Dynasty, mother figure of Korea).
