Guidelines regarding conduction of Term-I Examination (Classes


IX & XI) and Pre Mid Term-1 Examination (Classes X and XII)
(2021-22)

Dear Parents & Students,

The Datesheet for Term-1 Examination (IX & XI ) and Pre-Mid Term-I Examination(X& XII) has been
shared through school ERP on 08.09.2021. The Examination are scheduled to commence from 27.09.2021
and 28.09.2021 for classes X & XII and IX & XI respectively. To assess the students through competency
based assessment strategy by CBSE, the school would conduct the examination physically in order to
better prepare the students for approaching CBSE Board Examination.

We wish that following points be borne in mind by the students and parents and make necessary
arrangements to ensure smooth conduction of the examination.
Students are required to abide by the following instructions for the smooth conduction of Examination:
There will be preparatory leave for Class IX and XI on 27.09.2021 (Monday).

1. The Examination will be conducted physically only in the school as per the Datesheet provided.
2. The examination will be of objective type as per CBSE Pattern and OMR sheets shall be provided
for attempting the question paper.
3. The duration of Examination will be 90 minutes.
4. The Timings of Examination for Students are:

5. Students have been allotted specific classrooms where they will be seated everyday for the duration
of assessments.
6. The seating plan will be displayed on the entry gate. Students must go directly to the designated
room.
7. Students will not leave the designated examination rooms to meet other students or teachers.
8. Transport arrangements to and from the school must be made by parents.
9. Self discipline is most important to protect oneself and contain the spread of COVID19 infection
through ensuring social distancing and maintaining hygienic conditions.
10. All the students are required to wear mask/ face covers in the school premises
11. Student may carry Hand Sanitizer with them.
12. Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involves strict practice of covering one’s mouth
and nose while coughing and sneezing with a tissue/ handkerchief/ flexed elbow and disposing of
used tissue in the yellow bin
13. Physical distancing shall be maintained at all places. Student should not gather or form groups
before or after the examination
14. It is mandatory to use only BLUE BALL point pen for writing the exam. No gel pen or pilot pen,
pencil is allowed.
15. Students are required to carry their own stationary. No sharing of stationary is allowed.
16. Students are required to carry their own water bottles.
17. If in case any student is having any medical issue, the school must be informed priorly.
18. No gadgets like smart watch, calculator, cell phones etc are allowed.
19. Two copies of the consent letter (Annexure –B) are attached. It is mandatory for each student, who
appears for the Annual Examination 2021-22 to submit both the copies of consent letter to the class
teacher latest by 18th September 2021 and take one stamped copy back of consent letter from your
class teacher & it must be carried by the student on all days of the Examination.

21. In case students do not appear for the Examination physically in school fresh dates will be announced later.

Please note that the school needs time to make necessary seating and other arrangements following
COVID Protocols and hence the consent form must be submitted as per the date mentioned. Any late
submissions will not be entertained.

CONSENT FORM- TERM-1/PRE-MID TERM-1


EXAMINATION CLASS-IX TO XII

I hereby give consent for my ward Miss/ Master _ of Class


_______& Section ____to write the 2021-22 TERM-1/PRE MID TERM-1 Examination in
the school premises.
I guarantee that at present my ward does not show any symptoms related to Covid-19, like
fever, cold, cough, shortness of breath etc. And he/ she will follow all Covid-19 Safety
related protocols while in the school.
