MODULE 8, TASK 7: SUBMITTING YOUR FINAL ACTION PLAN

Now you are going to put together your Final Action Plan from all of the plans and tools that you created in this
course. Completing this action plan will help you in the future when you conduct this teacher training or other
teacher trainings.

Your Final Action Plan has three parts:

1. Reflecting on stages of planning your training course

2. Showcasing best work
3. Implementing your Action Plan

Answer each of the following questions to complete the three parts of your plan.

PART 1 Reflect on Planning your Training Course

For this first part of your Final Action Plan, reflect on all that you have learned since you began the course.

Provide a detailed description of the most important lessons you learned and how they will help you in your
training context.

1. Please review Modules 1-3 and write a description of the most important lesson(s) you learned in these
modules and how it will help you in your training context. Write at least 2-3 sentences.

Modules 1-3 show me that researching and analyzing participants' needs before conducting training plays a very
important role in the success of training workshops.

2. Please review Module 4 and write a description of the most important lesson(s) you learned in this
module and how it will help you in your training context. Write at least 2-3 sentences.

"Pitch" is my most impressive term after studying module 4. An impressive presentation will help attract the
attention of the participants. As a result, the trainers can get closer to the students, increasing the interaction
during the lesson much more.

3. Please review Module 5 and write a description of the most important lesson(s) you learned in this
module and how it will help you in your training context. Write at least 2-3 sentences.

The biggest lesson I learned in Module 5 was the 80-20 rule in teaching. I need to put the learner at the center, but
I can't talk too much in my teaching. This helps to encourage students' active learning and increases the
effectiveness of memorization in teaching.

4. Please review Modules 6-7 and write a description of the most important lesson(s) you learned in these
modules and how it will help you in your training context.  Write at least 2-3 sentences.

Modules 6-7 provided me with knowledge about "peer collaboration" and how teachers maintain interaction and
mutual support in teaching. There are many ways to stay engaged on teachers' social media platforms. However, in
my opinion, recognizing teachers' contributions in a timely and reasonable manner is one of the most effective
ways to motivate them.

5. Please review Module 8 and write a description of the most important lesson(s) you learned in this
module and how it will help you in your training context. Write at least 2-3 sentences.

Module 8 taught me that determining the success or failure of a training session lies not only in the thorough
preparation of the trainer but also in the interaction from the trainees. Therefore, we need to flexibly use different
methods to create excitement and motivation for the participants.

PART 2 Showcase your Best Work

Step 1: Select your best work. For the next part of your Final Action Plan, select one (1) of the following tools to
showcase as an example of your best work:

 Needs Analysis tool (if you created your own)

 Course Outline
 Pitch
 Training Lesson Plan
 Observer Form
 Evaluation Form

Copy and paste your tool at the end of the document or upload the file in your submission.

Step 2: Answer the reflection questions about the example you have selected. For this example of your best work
answer the following reflection questions. Write at least 4-6 sentences:

 Why did you choose the tool as your "best work?"

I choose the training lesson plan as my "best work" because I don't feel like I'm an eloquent person to present
in a convincing or attractive way. However, I can plan the training well because I have had experience training
many teachers before.

 How will you use the tool in your context?

I have planned detailed training for teachers in the school on how to use information
technology in classroom management and teaching knowledge to students.

PART 3 Implement your Action Plan

For the final step of your Final Action Plan, answer the following questions about implementing your plan.

2
1. What will you share from this course with your colleagues? Write at least 2-3 sentences.

I think I will share with the teachers in my school about what new I learned in this course such as student needs
analysis survey, "pitch" skills,...

2. How and when will you implement your training course? Write at least 2-3 sentences.

I will share gradually through monthly group meetings at my school. I believe the teachers will be very excited with
that knowledge.

3. What are the challenges you think you will have in implementing your course? Write at least 2-3
sentences.

To be honest, I don't think I have too much difficulty or challenge in conducting the training sessions as this is
actually not my first time doing this. However, I am a bit apprehensive about the applicability of the content I share
because most of the teachers at my school are quite passive in absorbing knowledge and also afraid to make big
changes because they are afraid that everything is complicated.
