1-   The Problem
Rewrite the task in your own words. You must mention inquiry statement, key concept,
related concepts and Global Context (you can attain this information from the MYP poster)
 
The problem I have to find a solution for is how this individual/family is moving into town and needs assistance

with the budgeting for his bills,groceries,pocket money etc.. I must focus on the inquiry statement and I need to

focus on the Key concept which is inquiring and analyzing & related concepts & to understand how to solve this

problem. I must investigate the key concepts and related concepts through the Global context. I will do this by

designing a very good system which will help and assist him to get along with the town and see the different

prices which he is going to face during his stay in this neighbourhood ,this will help him to see the prices and if

he can afford it ,if not he will have to transport to a different place.

a. 

What is the nature of the problem?

That this individual is moving to a new suburb and doesn't know what to do or the amount of
money to take with them. To help understand his budget and how he can use it through his
income and expenses. like :

 Electricity
 Gas bills
 Pocket money
 Gifts
 Food
 Benefits from the government
 Pensions
 Costs of meals and how he can save money by making it at home.

   þ Teamwork skills:
We will work together as a team to complete this project and submit the work on time to a
high standard by taking time in class to focus and complete the work as much as we can, if
the work isn't finished in class we can take some time out at home to finish what we did not
complete while in class.

þ Resources, having the necessary tools:

Internet, charged laptop, charger, wifi

No budgeting for this task

 Complete the tasks on time by organizing our time and focusing on completing the tasks by

 I know that in order to complete this task we need to consider all the factors that could occur
while settling in our new town.

 We can research factors that need to be considered while moving towns to complete task
with full accuracy

 We need self management skills, we need to have energy to complete the work to a high
standard

 Make time at school and home to complete tasks set. Make sure that
we balance this work with the work of all the other subjects and

Task analysis   
How:  by using sources in the school library like books and even asking the
people around us for information about bills, groceries and how to save
money. This will help us to gain knowledge we will need in the future if we
change houses. 
 Why :This information is very important as we need to understand why
this is valid for us and why we need to learn these topics for our future
when we grow up.
When:we will do this this term because we are getting older and this topic
is very important.
Where: they will be moving to a new town ,we will do the work in our
school design technology periods.
What: we will be discovering and researching by asking elders and people
who are most knowledgeable as they have moved and saved houses before.
