● What happens if I don't get an offer after completing the entire MountBlue training and deployment
period?
This is very rare (<5% of cases). If you did your best and are willing to work hard, MountBlue will assist you
with job search.
● I have another offer from X, how can I negotiate my offer with MountBlue?
MountBlue offers the same salary to all trainees. It is public on the MountBlue website. There is no negotiation.
● I am currently working in a company and have a notice period of X months. Can I join after serving the
notice period?
At MountBlue, we run the program in cohorts. And each cohort has a fixed joining date. So there will always be
a gap between your last working day at your current company and the joining date at MountBlue. Please reply
to the offer letter email and we will help you figure this out.
● I am currently pursuing my studies and have not graduated yet, what are the next steps for me?
If your college officially allows joining early in the 7th or 8th semester, and if you do not need more than a
couple of days for your examinations, you can join us now. Else we recommend you to complete your studies
and examinations and then join us. Please reply to the offer letter email with your college details and tentative
examination dates.
● My college allows me to work while completing my studies, but I will need holidays for the
examinations. Can I join now?
If you need only a couple of days for examinations it should be okay. If you need more time, then we
recommend you to join after completing your examinations. Please reply to the offer letter email with your
college details and tentative examination dates.
● Is there any gap between the training period and the deployment period?
Generally, there is no gap between the training and the deployment period. Most trainees are deployed within a
week of the end of the training period.
● Will I get deployed to a company in a different city? / Will I have to relocate to a different city for my
deployment?
You may get deployed and relocate to a city mentioned in your offer letter.
We have found a lot of the candidates have decent aptitude but lack problem solving skills. MountBlue Prep is
a program to bridge that gap. Even solving 80 to 100 problems puts you in decent shape to join MountBlue.
MountBlue has hired around 150 trainees from the Prep program.

● What is FreeCodeCamp?
FreeCodeCamp is a non-profit organization that helps people learn to code for free.
● What is HackerRank?
HackerRank platform provides programming challenges on a wide variety of languages and topics.
● Why HackerRank for the programming challenges?
● It provides function stubs to only focus on the logic and not the whole program.
● It provides debug output while running the program. This helps you to put print statements and debug
your program directly.
● It helps you get familiar with the HackerRank platform. Lot of companies use Hackerrank or similar
platforms for conducting technical interviews. We use the same platform in our direct test.
● What if I cheat from others or the internet and complete this challenge?
The whole objective of MountBlue Prep is defeated. If you copy, it will not improve your problem solving skills.
If a mentor catches you cheating or lying in the interview process, you will be blacklisted from further
interviews. Even if you somehow make it to MountBlue by cheating, you will be found out in the first week and
blacklisted. Do not be in a hurry to get a job - be in a hurry to improve. Job, MountBlue or otherwise will take
care of itself
DO NOT PLAGIARIZE!
