In this analysis focus was to get a complete picture of 2 wheeler industry in india and to look whether
investments in this area is impressive.
Analyzing future growth prospects of 2-wheelers in India both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Analyzing financials of key participants in Industry and comparison from International peers.
Gathering insights about future opportunities and challenges ahead.
Time Series Decomposition and Forecasting of Electricity consumption.
The project involved decomposing time series, studying the trend and seasonality and using the
components to forecast future demand.
Establishing the trend using smoothening methods like Centered 12 MA.
Using Classical Multiplicative Decomposition to find seasonality and Noise.
Estimating future trend using curve fitting and compensating with seasonality to get prediction.
Investment Analysis using Monte Carlo Simulation
Generally while making financial decisions factors like Interest rates, year of service etc are not fixed but
lies within a range, hence only probabilistic estimate could be drawn.
Predicting probability of various outcomes possible while investing in particular project.
