TO: SK MEMBERS

SUBJECT: CREATION OF SK BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (SK BAC)

DATE: 6 JANUARY 2020

Pursuant to GPPB Circular 07-2019 dated 17 July 2019 which provides guidance on how the SK, like any
procuring entity, shall conduct its procurement activities pursuant to RA No. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and
Regulations (IRR), as provided in Sections 8(l) and 20(a) of the IRR of RA No. 10742 or the SK Reform Act, to
wit:

“The SK Chairperson shall: (1) serve as Head of the Procuring Entity (HOPE), and (2) shall establish a
BAC with at least five (5) but not more than seven (7) members and designate the Chairperson, Vice
Chairperson and the BAC members, who are SK members except the SK Treasurer.”

In view of the foregoing, I am hereby designating the following SK Members as members of the said committee:

BAC Chairperson: SK Member Christian Z. Elorza

BAC Vice-Chairperson: SK Member Charlene A. Apog
BAC Members: SK Member Zara Mae S. Aranjuez
SK Member Anne Feb O. Ayon
SK Member Jessa Marie P. Sapatos

Let it be on notice that the delay in the creation of the SK BAC is due to deficiency in training for SK Members on
their duties and responsibilities as members of the said committee. Also, GPPB Circular 07-2019 allowed SKs to
request their Barangay BAC to undertake the procurement tasks of the SK.
