No One Knows Ology: A Field of Indefinite Science

Technology can be categorized into ‘bringing forth’ and ‘challenging forth’. While
the greatest minds have laid out groundbreaking answers to human questions and theories
which provided us an understanding of how this became that, even intellectual figures like
Albert Einstein left out unanswered propositions like e=mc^2 and the Theory of Relativity.

With the help of human knowledge, advancement in technology has paved the way
for easier access to development. The Diwata-1 and Maya-1 developed by Filipino scientists
alone exemplifies that with the newest
enhancements in mechanical and other
aspects of human labor, life is much easier
and ideas are much more feasible. This
advancement is what best exemplifies
technology as bringing forth. If these
expeditions succeed, science in a Filipino
context will eventually improve. (Photo ℅

Although limitations in technology

centuries back, it is definitely imperative
that it is powered by determination and
hardwork to achieve a desired end. As it is trial and error, they have encountered setbacks
that may have hindered them to finish testing their theories and one major facet in the
scientific attitude was there was little to none that believed in science. Now, trillions are
invested into scientific developments and enhancements. Those of which are the causes of
evil and human ignorance. The nearly extinction of an endemic fish, Tawilis 1 for example,
‘challenges forth’ technology in a detrimental way.

The University of the Philippines (UP)

scientists have worked tirelessly to undo
something caused by technology being taken
for granted. The ongoing UPLB-LS study by
the researchers at the Limnological Station in
Barangay Mayondon called “FISH ARK
Project for Taal Lake: Direction conservation
of the endemic freshwater fish Sardinella
tawilis” aimed to explore ways to rear the
freshwater sardine ex-situ or away from its
natural environment.2 This only conclude that
scientific ideas must not be put into dirty and
selfish hands but to those competent enough to
make science and living a balance.
