1. What are the four steps of Nutrition Care Process? Explain briefly.
- The four steps of Nutrition care process are Nutrition Assessment, which is the cornerstone of
nutritional treatment; it serves as a crucial foundation for customizing a person's nutritional care based
on the cause, prevention, or treatment of a disease. Nutrition diagnosis, it includes identification of
specific nutrition problem based on the nutrition assessment data. Nutrition Intervention, it refers to
purposely-planned actions designed with the intent of changing a nutrition-related behavior, risk factor,
environmental condition, or aspect of health status for an individual, a target group, or population at
large. Nutrition Monitoring and evaluation, which is to determine and measure the amount of progress
made for the nutrition intervention and whether the nutrition related goals/expected outcomes are
being met.
