Exercice1:

1/ Bill and Frank were just going to fall over, when an old lady saw them. Suddenly, they tried to
hold on the cars for support. At that moment, the old lady thought they were drunk. She saw them
falling over the floor and called the police because she thought that they were trying to break down
the car. So then, they were arrested by the police. Eventually, during the investigation Bill
emphasized that the whole issue was a total misunderstanding since they weren’t drunk. He
highlighted that it was out of slippery area that they fell over.

2/Bill and Frank were just trying to break into the car, when an old lady saw them from the window.
All of a sudden, they hugged each other. At that moment, she decided to call the police .She heard
them swearing and shouting at 1o’clock in the morning .So then, they got arrested by the police.
Eventually, they put Bill in the jail cell.

Exercice2:

According to the old lady, Bill and Frank were swearing and shouting in such aggressive manner.

He said that they fall over out of the steep hill and slippery area whereas she said that they tried to
break into the car.

He was absolutely certain than he wasn’t drunk and that it was a complete misunderstanding.

She mentioned the fact that they tried to steal expensive things and that such nasty looking
creatures deserve to be arrested. She didn’t mention anything neither about the steep hill nor about
the slippery area.
