Sending Email Blast Using formMule

formMule is an email merge utility add-on for Google Sheets.

1. Download the formMule add-on. On the Google Sheets, click Add-ons, a menu will open, click Get
add-ons... to open the add-on window.

2. Search for formMule on the search bar. Click the + Free button.

After downloading, you can now use formMule.


3. Open the list of email recipients with token used for the LimeSurvey on Google Sheets. To use
formMule, click on Add-ons → formMule – Email Merge Utility → Open. The formMule window
will open.

4. Select the sheet containing the email addresses and merge source data (token, etc.). Then, click Next:
Templates and send conditions.
5. On the next window, you can set conditions regarding the email template.
In this example, Template 1 will be used if email is not null.
Click Save template settings after setting up the conditions. Then, click Next: Edit templates.

6. On the next window, you can build/preview the email template. After setting up the email (recipient,
email subject, body) click Preview and send all to send the emails.
In this example, the ‘email’ merge tag is for the email addresses. Merge tags are found on the right
panel.
7. On this window, click Send now to send the emails.
