transportation in the philippines

When it comes to transportation there's a lot of ways to use or take.


Going to our daily routine, like going to work need us to ride a car,
take motorized tricycle, jeep, bus, taxi, and use of MRT and LRT, this
are the modes of transportation everyone is using in the Philippines.

The transportation system is a facility or equipment with the


movement of people. It is also a solution that makes us reach the
place we want to go. To transport a product or person is easy if we
have system that will use.
LAND
TRANSPORTATION
JEEP

This is the most popular transportation in the


Philippines. Everyone ride in a jeep especially
ordinary people that can't afford to pay a big
amount to other public vehicles.

transportation is taking a
taxi. Going around here in
Manila is easy using one of
this transportation.

The taxi fare are metered.


BUS

The bus also plays a big role in transportation. It serves as one of the main means
of transportation to the Filipinos when they travel especially to the nearby
provinces.

There were two types of bus the ordinary bus wherein the fare is cheaper and
the Air conditioned Bus which is a little expensive fare.

There were three kinds of bus that we have here in the Philippines, the City Bus,
that caters travelers within the city of Metro Manila, the Provincial Bus that
caters travelers from Manila to the Provinces, and the new Point-to-Point Bus that
is actually in city but is a oneway route only.

One of the biggest terminal of provincial bus is located in Cubao, Quezon City,
followed by a terminal in Pasay, City.

Grab

This is an application that help traveler to reached


their destination in a most convenient manner.

This actually an international application that is


observed/ used on different countries that support
the same application.

You need to download the application, the


application will then help get your make and model
of vehicle with the picture and the name of the
driver, along with the amount of your total fare.

This is a little expensive but in return it will


provide convenience to the travelers, as there are
no old unit of vehicle being used for this.
MOTORCYCLE

Is a type of transportation that has


only two wheels, its the fastest among
the other modes of transportation that
we have in the philippines as it can
travel and pass by other type of
vehicle on the road.

Motorcycle vehicles is not included on


the color coding scheme in metro
manila.
PEDICAB and TRICYCLE

This type of vehicle is


normally observed on a
village, subdivision, and
small towns wherein
motorcycles are allowed.

Pedicab is not allowed to be


used along the highways.

The PNR is a state owned railway company in the


Philippines, operating a single line of track on Luzon. As
of 2016, it operates one commuter rail service in Metro
Manila and Local, and planning to revive again the route
going to Bicol.

Cebu Pacific

Cebu Pacific is the second air transportation in


the philippines.

The airline was established on


August 26, 1988, and started
operations on March 8, 1996.
Republic Act No. 7151, which
grants franchise to Cebu Air, Inc.
was approved on August 30, 1991.
Cebu Air, Inc. was subsequently
acquired by JG Summit Holdings
(owned by John Gokongwei).
