RAPID User training manual for Surveyors

A process document
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The current document describes the process to be followed by Claims User for processing the claim.

1. Surveyor Assessment- Surveyor
Login on RAPID URL using Surveyor ID.

Now surveyor will starts work on that claim. He will provide the necessary details of the vehicle and claim
step by step.
a. First step he will search that claim by entering claim no. on insurer claim no. in the top list of
search claim.
b. And then he will enter to the click me option and he starts work on the claim one by one first he
enters to the claim.

After searching the claim click on ‘Click Me’ option of right side of the claim that Surveyor has to process.

1. Claim Details :

Then the surveyor will click on save and next option and move to next window
accident i.e. Loss details..

2. Loss details :
Here the surveyor will enter the accident cause and date and time

After giving the details again the surveyor will do the save and next.

3. Policy Details :
Then the next table of policy details of claim and the address and contact detail of the insurer will be
provided by the surveyor.
And again he goes to the save and next

After the surveyor saves and next the policy details he will enter into new table of vehicle.

4. Vehicle Details :
Here the surveyor will enter the Speedo-meter and other necessary details.
And again then he move to save and next option.
Then clicks to save and next option in below format.

5. Photos and Documents Details :

Here Surveyor add Accident photos and vehicle document.

After uploading he saves the details in Photos list.
Then clicks to the next option he moves to the next.

6. Control Panel Details :
Surveyor enter the control panel details and click on save and next button

7. Bill Check Assembly :

Then he moves to the next bill assembly column will be applied.


Here surveyor will add custom assembly details.
On clicking add custom assembly a new tables shown which is shown below.

1) Here the surveyor can add the custom assembly details and assembly part.
2) He can insert the cost what is provided according to assembly.
3) All the assemblies which need to be added have to be selected. If they are not selected, they
will not be added to Assembly list.
4) Then the surveyor will click on save changes and next.
5) Then on clicking on next he will move to assembly list shown below.

Then from here surveyor will click on save changes. Here if he wants to find any assembly, he has to
enter assembly in assembly field at top of the page and click on search.
And he will click to next.

Then he will click on back button and add the add assembly

8. Settlement Details :

Here repair basis settlement is selected by default. Surveyor has to click first on analyze and save button
then click on the save and next button.

9. Status :

Here Surveyor selects the status for the first time as ‘First Loss Assessed’, Preliminary Report Date and
enters remarks and clicks on ‘update’.

After completing Surveyor processing CH cross checks the details and sets the status as approved by CH.
Once CH sets the status Surveyor changes the status to ‘To Settle’.

Another Surveyor Statuses:
1) To Check-Attended: When CH set the status as ‘To Check’ and put some remarks after that Surveyor
will re-check all the details and set ‘To Check-Attended’ status.
2) Kept Open: After 1st inspection surveyor set status as ‘Kept Open’.
3) Re-inspection : When surveyor need to Re-Inspection on vehicle.
4) Closed: When surveyor find that there is no need process on that claim, that time surveyor set the
status as ‘Closed’.
5) Repudiation: When surveyor find there is some illegal document or anything else that time he set the
status as ‘Repudiation’.
