METHODOLOGY

1. SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be clean1 and free from all traces of loose material, old coatings, curing
membranes, release agents, laitance, oil and grease, etc. Surfaces may be damp but free from
standing water. Substrate compression strength should be at least 20 Mpa. Structurally unsound
layers and surface containments must be mechanically removed. Power washing 1a followed by
blowing2to remove fine aggregates is recommended.

2. REPAIR ON FLOORS
Repair crack areas by placing a pre-cut mesh.

3. WATERPROOFING USING RECEPROOF FC

3.1 MIXING RECEPROOF FC

Pour half of component A (liquid) into mixing
vessel. Add all component B (powder) and mix
until you have a slurry of uniform consistency. Add
rest of component A and mix again until you have
uniform, lump-free mixture. Mechanical slow
speed mixer3 is recommended. Mixing time 2-3
minutes. If RECEPROOF FC is to be applied by
trowel, use only 90% of component A (liquid).

3.2 APPLICATION OF RECEPROOF FC
RECEPROOF FC can be applied by brush4 or steel trowel. Two coats is required, horizontal
then vertical or vice versa. The second coating must be done after the first coat is dry to touch.

 Flood test should be done after 24 hours.

 Topping is recommended after the application of ReceProof FC.

5. APPLICATION OF POLYURETHANE (RECEPROOF TRIPOLY)
Mix the waterproofing system with a slow speed mixerfig.3.

AREA APPLICATION OF THE SYSTEM

 With an airless sprayerfig.4, roller or brush apply the first layer of the waterproofing system
over the field.
 Allow the application to dry and cure prior to applying the second layer. Average curing time
during sunny warm humidity will roughly take 1-2 hours.
