VIII. Course Description:


This subject deals with the principles of energy transfer and conversion into its effective utilization in several process variables in
manufacturing and production industries.
IX. Course Credit / Unit: TWO (2) UNITS (1 hour lecture, 3 hours laboratory= 4 hrs./ week)

At the end of the course the student must have:
1. Defined the operation of sensor and transducer
2. Explained the principles of operation and application of different types of sensors and transducers
3. Connected the different types of sensors and transducers circuit diagrams available.
4. Illustrated the circuit functions of DAC/ADC, and OP AMPS (Operational Amplifiers)
5. Understood the basic operation of Pneumatics and Hydraulic system.
