Company Profile

The Registrar’s Office is responsible in the


responsible and efficient management and maintenance
of all pertinent student records such as entrance
requirements, personal student information, grades and
other pertinent data; and the effective and efficient
delivery of service where student records are concerned.
In addition to the maintenance and evaluation of
student records, the Office is responsible for a wide array
of academic support duties and responsibilities such as
the preparation and implementation of the Academic
Calendar, schedule, requirements and procedures in
enrollment, schedule of classes and the application, and
interpretation of academic policies such as evaluation of
credits/loads earned, subject sequencing, and academic
requirements for graduation of students. The Office of the
Registrar provides leadership and recommendation to the
Principal and President in terms of academic policies.

The stand-alone Senior High School in Calaca was realized when the
teaching force and learners bound to occupy the building in November 2016,
second semester period. During that time, it was only building 1, a 4-storey
building which 20 classroom, was the only one being used, although during
that time, was roughly about to finish buildings 2 and 3 that were
simultaneously constructed. Both buildings were 4 storey buildings with 16
classrooms and 24 classrooms respectively.

It was Mrs. Cristina A. Perez, retired Principal IV of Pedro A Paterno


Memorial NHS served as pioneer leader in dealing with school management
started up with 4 non-teaching staff and 23 teaching-staff, ranked as MTI -1;
MTII -2; T –III -8; T-II -7 and TI -5.
Because of busy schedule of Mrs. Perez Mr. Jeomark r. Gumapac first took
the position as OIC for 3 months, and then followed by Mrs. Rowena
Ontangco for another 3 months. Luckily enough to have a principal in Calaca
Senior High School, on January 19, 2017.
Mr. Godofredo P. Marasigan acquired the position as Principal II at Calaca
Senior High School. Now it has an official name as SHS in Calaca.
SHS in Calaca is considered as big school because it caters a total learners
of 1,437. Being a stand-alone school and big school also, it must have two
assistant principals to administer in the governance/ operation and in
curriculum area.
Recently, SHS had Mrs. Jovelyn D.Bancoro, the assistant principal in
curriculum who started her post on August 17, 2018.
At present, 60 classrooms were already completed including
workshops/laboratories of different strands, especially the TVL,s for their
skills development.
There is also a clinic wherein learners and teachers can utilize it if ever they
experience something in their health issues.
As of now, SHS in Calaca has a total number of 1,437 learners.
History
The ever supporting Mayor, Honorable Sofronio “Boogle” C. Ona, was
one among the first municipalities who accepted the challenge of putting up
Senior High School and all facilities in the vicinity with the help of technical
support of the Department of Education in the division level through the
leadership of the School Division Superintendent, Dr. Carlito D. Rocaport.
The focal person of the Senior High School in the person of Mrs. Cristina A.
Perez, Principal IV of Dacanlao Gregorio Agoncillo NHS during that time,
paved away for the realization of setting up senior high school, through
writings, with the help of Sir Allan C. Gatdula, being the school coordinator in
the school level.
Through proper coordinator with the LGU’s headed by Mayor Boogle, together
with Mr. Deovic Ontangco, whom during that time was the Chairman of
Education, a memorandum of agreement was interred into by and between the
LGU’s and the DepEd under the resolution no. 15-34 approved on April 25,
2015.

The school site having a total area of 4200 sq.m. was located in
barangay Madalunot. The construction started up on May 2015 and design for
three buildings, having a total of 60 classrooms

The construction of building 1 should have been finish for a year since
the implementation of the program has to start on June 2016, however
because of unavoidable circumstances in the construction, it extended up to
November 2016, therefore, the ever Senior High School was first catered by
the Calaca Central school for almost 6 months. The school gymnasium also
serve as classroom for TVL Strand but a month after, learners where fuse to
other section for them to have a better learning environment. The strands the
were offer during first year of implementation were STEM- 47 learners,
HUMSS, ABM, ICT, Industrial Arts, Agri fishery, and Economics, with a total
number of 686 learners.
