ACTIVITY 2
BADMINTON LESSON:
The game is named for Badminton, the country estate of the dukes of Beaufort in Gloucestershire,
England, where it was first played about 1873. The roots of the sport can be traced to ancient Greece,
China, and India, and it is closely related to the old children's game battledore and shuttlecock.

A. Define Badminton.(10pts)

- Play badminton at home. (choose who will be your partner)
- Do it with video, duration of video: until the end of the game. (end of the game if the scores reach
to 21 points)
- Attach the video in Google classroom, (if the video is too long just cut it until the whole video will
be uploaded in the Google classroom.
ACTIVITY 3
CHESS LESSON:
The history of chess can be traced back nearly 1500 years, although the earliest origins are uncertain.
The earliest predecessor of the game probably originated in India, before the 6th century AD. From
India, the game spread to Persia. In Europe, chess involved into roughly its current form in the 15 th
century.
A. Answer the questions in your own understanding and idea.
1. Define chess.(10pts)
2. Enumerate the name of each chess pieces and write its movements.(5pts each)
3. Give at least 5 rules and regulations in chess.(5pts)

B. Write your answer in the correct classification. (35pts)
