SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

Saint Patrick's Day is an original tradition of Ireland, which came to the United

States with migrants from the Irish country, it is celebrated in commemoration of

Saint Patrick the patron saint who Christianized Ireland in the 5th century. It is

celebrated every March 17, every year. Mainly in cities like New York, Chicago,

and Boston where the Irish were most concentrated, parades are held during the

day and people wear green.
