RCY VIRTUAL LOUNGE Philippine Red Cross - Capiz Chapter

OVERVIEW

The Red Cross Youth Services, one of its ways to connect and communicate to their members nowadays is
through social media platforms. As a way to promote and nurture the youth, the engagement to activities
of the members by widening their knowledge in every issues or concerns we are currently facing today

RCY Virtual Lounge is an online event of the Red Cross Youth - Capiz Chapter to celebrate the Red Cross
Youth Month in this time of the pandemic.

RCY VIRTUAL LOUNGE

The activity is held in the month of October for five (5) Saturdays with the series of topics and activities in which they
can listen, learn, formulate and apply in their respective councils. The Opening Ceremony will be held on October 2,
2021, where they will interact with all the RCY Members all over Capiz. In each Saturday of the week, there will be a
specific topic to be discussed. For October 9, there will be a seminar for One Million Kahoy for the YAPE. October 16,
the topic to be discussed is all about Global Handwashing and COVID-19. In October 23, they will hold a Mental
Health Awareness session. Aside from the key topics, there will be also fun games and activities for all RCY Capizeños
to join and look forward with the prices to be given. And the Closing Ceremony will transpire on October 30, 2021 to
formally end the events prepared for the Red Cross Youth Month Celebration.

OBJECTIVES

The RCY Virtual Lounge aims to:

 Reach out and gather all Red Cross Youth Members in each council to make connections;
 Listen, participate and inspire the youth with the stories and learnings they can absorb;
 Promote camaraderie between Red Cross Youth members;
 Build networks of the members into Red Cross Programs;

FOOD, TRAVEL DETAILS, DATE and VENUE

The RCY Virtual Lounge will be conducted through Google Meet on October 9, 16, and 23, 2021 from 8:00 AM to
3:00PM. Where the series of webinars and activities will be held in their homes and only connect virtually.
