Air Synapsis is a leading international provider of heliport services offering turnkey solutions covering the following scopes:
• Complete heliport design and engineering including obstacle limitations surfaces, physical characteristics, visual aids, lighting, firefighting, emergency
response planning as well as certification with local authorities.
• Tender documentation & Project Management: BOQ, specifications, material approval, construction supervision or subcontracted construction/installation.
• Heliport operations masterplan including heliport safety risk management systems, heliport operations manuals, crew approach plates and training.
• Heliport equipment supplies (lighting equipment, aluminum helideck, safety nets, firefighting accessories etc.)
Air Synapsis is approved by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and an active member of the DCAA Committee for Heliport Operational Excellence (CHOX) aiming at
developing a Dubai standard for heliport design and operations. Our heliport designs are covered by a worldwide Professional Indemnity insurance.
Air Synapsis has a worldwide experience of several dozens of heliport projects including the design, construction supervision and final certification of one of the
world’s largest commercial elevated heliport at the Dubai World Trade Center.

AIRSIDE INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN SERVICES
Air Synapsis offers solutions suitable for both civilian and/or military projects using standards such as ICAO Annex 14, FAA AC 150s, GCAA CAR Part IX, US DoD UFC
etc. Our capabilities cover:
• Pavement design for both rigid and flexible pavement types, including all aeronautical areas based on selected standards (ICAO, FAA, UfC) and methods (ie:
FAARFIELD software). Design drawings together with MEP/drainage integration.
• Runway design covering obstacle limitations surfaces, physical characteristics (new runways, extensions, displaced thresholds, shoulders etc.), visual aids,
AGL. Certification with local authorities. Design drawings together with MEP/drainage integration.
• Taxiways and apron design covering physical characteristics (stands, taxi lanes, shoulders, holding bays etc.), visual aids, AGL. Design drawings together with

DARSHAN BHATIA - AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER
Darshan is an Avionics Engineer graduated from Emirates Aviation University. He is an Assistant Engineer
accredited member of the International Electrical and Electronic Engineering community.
He wrote and published papers regarding AAV launching systems. Design Engineer
Over the years as researcher at Emirates aviation university he has amassed knowledge in
building and operating recreational drones. He is an expert in electronics, machine
learning, programming and CAD designing.
Over the last year Darshan has been involved in the complete scope of heliport related
services from initial design to final certification.

Isabelle joined Air Synapsis in 2012 and has extensive experience providing administration
and operational support.
