Joash: Well Jex there are some people who care about our environment but guys what came into your minds
that you wanted to plant trees?

Jeah: Well our Enviro. teacher, Mrs. Cawaling told us about P.D. 389 (P.D. 705) or The Forestry Reform Code
and other forestry laws that’s why Leanna and I were encouraged to plant trees.

Jex: Really uhh, well what’s P. D. 389 or The Forestry Reform Code?

Jeah: P. D. 389 or The Forestry Reform Code codifies, updates and raises forestry laws in the country. It
emphasizes the sustainable utilization of forest resources.

Leanna: The other forestry laws are:

1. P. D. 330 and P. D. 953. They are the laws on penalizing illegal cutting of trees.
2. P. D. 953 and 1153. They are the laws on tree planting and
3. P. D. 331. They are the laws requiring all public forests be developed on a sustained yield basis.

Jeah: So guys you already know now what’s P. D. 389?

Joash and Jex: Yes!

Jeah: Yeah! OMG I can’t believe it.

Jex: Guys you were really right about what you’d said.

Joash: I can’t believe that just by planting trees this can happen. A big and good impact to the environment
can happen.

Jeah: You see guys even just a small or a little action, there will be big impact to the environment so…
