 Creating the Work Breakdown Structure
(WBS)
• WBS adalah pengelompokan berorientasi pekerjaan yang terlibat
dalam proyek yang mendefinisikan ruang lingkup total proyek.
• WBS adalah dokumen dasar yang menyediakan dasar untuk
perencanaan dan pengelolaan jadwal proyek, biaya, sumber daya, dan
perubahan.
• Dekomposisi adalah membagi hasil proyek menjadi bagian-bagian
yang lebih kecil.
• Paket pekerjaan adalah task/ tugas di level terendah WBS yang
digunakan manajer proyek untuk memantau dan mengendalikan
proyek

Prinsip-prinsip dasar WBS
1. Sebuah unit kerja hanya boleh muncul 1 kali di WBS
2. Isi sebuah item dalam WBS merupakan rangkuman items di
bawahnya
3. Sebuah item WBS merupakan tanggung jawab seorang individu,
walau mungkin melibatkan banyak orang
4. WBS harus konsisten dengan cara kerja tim
5. Anggota tim proyek harus terlibat dalam menyusun WBS
6. Tiap item WBS harus terdokumentasi untuk memastikan
pemahaman yang akurat tentang SOW
7. WBS harus fleksibel terhadap perubahan
sekaligus dapat mengelola kontrol kerja
proyek berdasarkan pernyataan lingkup
Kamus WBS dan Scope Baseline
◦ Kamus WBS adalah dokumen yang berisi informasi detail dari
setiap item WBS.
◦ Kedalamannya tergantung tim proyek, asalkan memberikan
pemahaman bagaimana pekerjaan-pekerjaan yang dilakukan,
dan dapat dijadikan acuan jika ada orang lain yang
menggantikan.
◦ Project scope statement yang sudah disepakati, WBS yang
berkaitan dengan project scope statement beserta kamus WBS
membentuk scope baseline
