Directions: Get the learners ready. Turn their attention to the story worksheet
and help them read through shadow reading first and later do the repetitive
reading.
Say: I have here a story about an eagle and a fox. Do you know what an eagle is? How about a
fox? (Show a picture of an eagle and a fox) But before we will read the story let us take a look at
some important words in the story:
Say: I will read the story part by part. You will read along with me silently and
later you we will read it aloud.
Directions: Call each learner and let each one tells what they did.
Say: Let’s look at closely what we did in the activities that we had earlier. What did you actually
do?
Say: Let’s try to organize our ideas. Think first. If you were the president of the
country, what shall you do? Say aloud your plans: beginning, middle and
end.
Say: I have here another worksheet. Take your time to think and organize your ideas and do
the activity.
Say: We will complete the unfinished paragraph by filling in your plans, if you were a
superhero.
If I Were a Superhero
Direction: Give each learner with worksheets and help each one organize their ideas using the
graphic organizer.
