Answer the following questions briefly.
1. Based on your personal experience, what hydrometeorological warning output is the helpful to you?
Justify your answer.
- The output of hydrometeorological warnings has been useful to me since it provides a daily
indication of the intensity and direction of predicted weather events in the following days and weeks. A
comparable application for safety and security issues would be beneficial. With the current increase in
natural catastrophes, it would be especially valuable if it could offer the users with an estimate of the
chance of a specific incident occurrence.

2. Is coastal erosion inevitable? Explain.

- Erosion along the coast is unavoidable. However, coastal erosion is worsened by extreme
weather events such as droughts, storms, earthquakes, and tsunamis. When catastrophic weather events
are paired with a growth in human population, the potential for property damage and loss of life is greater
than it has ever been. Such calamities afflict coastal towns all over the world, resulting in massive loss of
life and property.

3. Describe how tourism-related activities accelerate coastal erosion.

- Tourism-related activities hasten coastline erosion, which is a significant environmental
problem. Tourism raises the demand for coastal and marine resources for human use, which can have a
detrimental influence on the ecosystem. Coastal development and tourism may have a significant
influence on erosion and deterioration of the coastline and ocean ecosystem.
