ENTRANCE TEST – 2021
The program of MCA of IDOL, University of Mumbai is revised to two years program from the academic
year 2021-22.The said program is approved by UGC & AICTE the total sanction intake is 2000 seats Online
applications are invited for admission to Two Years (Four Semesters) MCA program through Distance and
Open Learning mode from website (http://idolmca.digitaluniversity.ac/#/) for updates kindly visit website

Eligibility: - Eligibility Criteria for Appearing the entrance Test:

(I) The candidate should be an Indian National;


(ii) Passed B.Sc.I.T. B.Sc Comp.Sci or Bachelor degree in computer science engineering or
equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% Marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates
of Backward Class Categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability
belonging to Maharashtra State only) OR
(iii) Passed B.Sc. or B. Com or B.A. with Mathematics 10+2 level or at Graduate level (with additional
bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned university) and obtained at least 50% marks
aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward Class Categories, Economically Weaker
Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Admissions to MCA will be on the basis of Entrance Test conducted online to be held on 1st December,2021.
Entrance examination fees of Rs. 500/- should be paid online through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking
by Payment Gateway. This fees is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

All the candidates claiming the reservation for backward classes should submit “Caste
certificate” in the name of the candidate issued by the Competent Authority from the State of
Maharashtra at the time of online submission of application form for the Admission to MCA
course.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST, VJ/DT (A), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC /SBC
categories should produce “Caste Validity Certificate” issued by the competent Authority at the
time of online submission of application form for the Admission. The policy of Social Justice &
Special Assistance Department and Tribal Welfare Development Department of state Government
will be made applicable in case of Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate If these candidates are not able
to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate & at the time of online submission of application
form for the admission, then such candidates will be treated as GENERAL category
candidates and such candidates will not be able to claim on reserved seats in the admission
process.
The candidates belonging to VJ/DT (A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC /SBC categories
should produce “Non Creamy layer Certificate” issued by the competent Authority in addition to
the caste certificate at the time of online submission of application form for the Admission. If these
candidates are not able to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate & at the time of online
submission of application form for the admission, then such candidates will be treated as
GENERAL category candidates and such candidates will not be able to claim on reserved seats
in the admission process.
30% (Horizontal) Reservation for women as per State Govt.
The percentage of seats reserved for candidates of backward class categories belonging to
Maharashtra State are as per the details shown in table below.

Backward class candidates shall claim the category to which they belong at the time of submission
of application form for Admission.
Application of candidates who submits wrong / incorrect information / Documents /
Certificates will be summarily rejected after verification at any point of time.
