2 Mounting Procedure
Modification
– Take care to prevent corrosion of the plunger. Oil it periodically.

– Plinth–plates: level them precisely horizontally by means of the spirit level and fix them in concrete.

– Remove the upper nuts of the plinth–plates and mount the buffer
– Adjust the buffer by means of spirit level and plumb line (use shims if necessary).
3 Oil Filling
– Remove cap of plunger cover by means of screw driver.

– Contact holder shall be screwed down on the cylinder by hand (not tightening) by means of strap (put strap on
contact holder, but pull it not through the cutouts).
– Operating bracket shall be adjusted exactly to the middle of the contact groove and strap tightened.
– Adjust the contact to Fig. 3 (by shifting in the slotted hole).
– Operate the contact and check whether still approx. 1 [mm] play is still available.

5 Performance Check
When the lift is ready for service, the buffer plunger shall be slowly pushed down completely.
Check the buffer stroke and resetting of the plunger, and the function of the contact (KP/KPG).
