Individualized information
in the cloud

Arburg, manufacturer of injection molding
machinery, presented a luggage tag that
can be individually marked, and that may
have the option of carrying a QR code or a
chip. It is possible to establish a connection
between the tag and a website, in which
the traveler's data is stored. It is as if
practically every piece of luggage has its
own website. In the future, this tag could
replace the identification strip that usually
sticks around the handle of the suitcase
when a flight is checked-in.
