Step1: Configure to Install Oracle Engine and Create an Instance

Step6: Edit and Run Utlspace.sql script to create catalog views and Utility Tablespaces
Step7: Run DBOwner.sql script to create PSDBOwner table
Step8: Edit and Run hcddl.sql script to create application specific Dbspaces and Tablespaces
Step9: Run psroles.sql script to create Peoplesoft Database Roles
Step10: Run psadmin.sql script to create Peoplesoft Database Owner ID
Step11: Run connect.sql script to create connect ID
Step12: Setup Configuration Manager 8.50 to create Data Mover Import Script
Step13: Run the Scripts and view the logs(import,encrypt_password,trigger,views,temtbls)
Step14: Edit and Run grant.sql script to grant permission to the Connect ID
Step15: Invoke Data Mover in regular mode using Operator ID and run storeddl.dms script to update
platform-specific DDL model statements
Step16: Invoke Data Mover in Bootstrap Mode using Owner ID and run msgtlsupg.dms script to
update PeopleSoft PeopleTools messages in the database
Step17: Launch App Designer using valid Operator ID and copy the project PPLTLS84CUR to update
PeopleTools Database Objects
Step18: Launch App Designer using valid Operator ID and copy the project PPLTLS84CURDEL to
Delete Obsolete PeopleTools Database Objects
Step19: Launch App Designer using valid Operator ID and Build the project PPLTLS84CUR to alter
PeopleTools Tables
Step20: Launch App Designer using valid Operator ID and copy the project PT84TBLSPC to copy the
Tablespace Record Project
Step21: Invoke Data Mover in Bootstrap mode using OwnerID and run pslanguages.dms script to load
language-specific seed data
Step22: Invoke Data Mover in Bootstrap mode using OwnerID and run tlsupgnoncomp.dms script to
import the updated peoplesoft peopletools Trees, Roles, and Access Groups in the database

-Run the UPG844PORTAL Application Engine program
2. Convert query headings
-Run the UPGQRYDUPHED Application Engine program
3. Convert setup manager
-Run the UPGPTSMDAT Application Engine program
4. Convert navigation collection and pagelet wizard data
-Run the UPGPT846PP Application Engine program
5. Convert additional pagelet wizard data
-Run the UPGPT848PP Application Engine program
6. Populating the feed options table
-Run the UPGPT850PTFP Application Engine

If your database is delivered with PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.48 or higher, do not run this task since the database
is already delivered with the new Integration Broker objects as of PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.48. Instead,
proceed to Running Additional PeopleTools Conversions.

Run the UPGPTSERVOPR Application Engine program
Step30: Changing User Interface
Launch App Designer with valid Operator ID and change the security setting for the permission list the
the UserID is assigned to.
select permission list HCPPALL fro HCM
 Disable the Definition Security for peopletools groupid to NO
 Highlight the stylesheet PSSTYLEDEF
 delete PSALTERNATE sub-stylesheet and insert PSALTERNATE_LIGHTBLUE
 delete PTSTYLEDEF sub-stylesheet and insert PTSTYLEDEF_LIGHTBLUE
 delete PSACE sub-stylesheet and insert PSACE_LIGHTBLUE then save it
 Highlight the stylesheet PSQUERYSTYLEDEF
 delete PTQUERYSTYLESUB_DARKBLUE sub-stylesheet and insert
PTQUERYSTYLESUB_LIGHTBLUE then save it
 Enable the Definition Security for Peopletools groupid to YES

Step32: Running Alter Audit


Launch App Designer with valid Operator ID , create new project by inserting all the
peopletools tables definitions and build script to check whether the peoplesoft peopletools tables are
sync with the SQL data tables in the database

Step33: Run the SETSPACE.SQR script to populate or synchronize Tablespace information with the system
catalog
Step34: Configure Application Server and Boot Up
Step35: Configure Web Server and Boot Up
Step36: Open valid Web Browser and invoke PIA with valid host name:port
