INSPECTION

1.What is meant by inspection?


An inspection is the process of looking at something, examining it, and making a
conclusion about it. In the corporate world, inspection is the critical evaluation of
goods, items, or systems that includes examination, testing, and measurement.
Inspectors take measurements and make comparisons.

2.What is a casual "WALK AROUND'' CHECK?


A walk around check is included in the preflight. During this procedure, situations that
could prevent the next flight are detected, such as whether there is a visible error,
fault, wear, fracture, obstruction, or damage. This is normally accomplished visually by
an expert walking around the plane.

3.What is PRE-FLIGHT CHECK


A preflight check is a procedure used to prepare for or before a flight (as in an aircraft).

4.Why use MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATION for?


Manufacturers anticipate that customers will follow the instructions supplied. If a
customer damages a product while failing to follow the instructions, the product
guarantee may be void. Another crucial element to consider is safety.

5.Why follow MANUFACTURER'S SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS?


Manufacturer instructions provide technical knowledge that can help us develop a risk
assessment, allowing us to create suitable controls and wear protective equipment to
protect ourselves from the hazards associated with a machine or equipment.

6.What is an AIRCRAFT LOGO?


The logo is often placed on the upper side of the horizontal stabilizer and is designed to
illuminate the Company marks on the aircraft's tail.

8.What is 100-hour inspection?
A 100-hour inspection is a type of maintenance
assessment for commercial aircraft weighing less
than 12,500 pounds. After every 100 hours of flight
time, an FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)
certified A&P (Airframe and/or Powerplant)
mechanic or the aircraft manufacturer performs
this.

9. What is a PRGORESSIVE INSPECTION?


A progressive inspection program (PIP) separates
airplane maintenance into pieces that take place at
regular intervals. Instead of completing the entire
inspection in 300 hours, the tasks are divided into six
inspections, each of which takes 50 hours to
complete.

10.What is an ANNUAL INSPECTION?


Annual Check - An Annual Inspection is a detailed
inspection of an aircraft and its engine required by
the Code of Federal Regulations on all certificated
aircraft every 12 months. An A&P professional with
an Inspection Authorization can only do an annual
inspection (IA).
