Basketball Rules and Guidelines

1. Teams must be ready to play at game time. Games will consist of two 10-minute halves .
2. The game and each overtime period will be started by a jump ball in the center circle.
3. The clock shall run continuously in the 1st and 2nd half except during:
1. Any timeout (officials or team)
2. Any whistle during the last two minutes of the second half
4. Each team is allowed three time-outs, each up to one minute in duration, per game.
5. Traveling violation occurs when a player holding the ball moves one or both their feet illegally.
6. A player who is injured, bleeding, or who has an excessive amount of blood on his/her uniform
shall be prohibited from participating in the game until appropriate treatment can be administered. If
medical care or treatment is administered in a reasonable length of time, the individual will not have
to leave the game.
7. Wearing of facemask inside the court is optional. Bench players must wear their face mask at all
times and maintain physical distancing.
8. Players need to disinfect their hands after every time-out before entering the court for the game to
resume.

Volleyball Rules and Guidelines

1. Only 6 players on the floor.

2. Points are made on every serve for the winning team of the rally (rally-point scoring)

3. A ball hitting a boundary line is in and a ball is out if it hits an antennae, the floor completely outside
the court, any of the net or cables outside the antennae, the referee stand or pole, or the ceiling above a
non-playable area.

4. It is legal to contact the ball with any part of a player’s body and to catch, hold or throw the ball.

5. A team must declare their libero and must wear a contrasting color from their teammates. 8. Each
team is allowed three time-outs, each up to one minute in duration, per game.

10. Only the competing teams, officiating officials and management are allowed in the venue.

11. Matches are played best of three sets. Each set are played to 25 points. If in case the sets are tied at
1, the final set will follow and played to 15 points.

12. The team who wins 2 sets will win the game.
