given to you after acceptance of this ‘Employment Offer’.

Subject: Appointment as a ‘Chief Operating Officer’ – Q Links Marketing & Advertising

Dear Mr. Khan,


Congratulations…
We are pleased to offer you a regular appointment (Permanent Basis), with effect from 20th Jan 2021, as
‘Chief Operating Officer’, (Grade 1) of Management Cadre at Q Links Marketing & Advertising.
Following are the employment terms and conditions: -
1. Official Designation:

As a company policy, you will be entitled and authorized to use ‘Chief Operating Officer’,
designation on business cards and all official correspondences (Soft & Hard Forms), locally &
internationally.

2. Salary & Allowances:

Your monthly gross salary will be as per following breakup:

In addition to the above, the following privileges / entitlements will be given to you:

3. Taxes & Deductions:


According to the relevant laws, company will deduct the following from your salary and remit to
the relevant departments:
a. Income Tax (Amounts exceeding PKR. 50,000/- (%age) (in terms of salary, sales
commissions, incentives altogether etc.).
b. Any other government taxes & liabilities as may be applicable from time to time.
c. Employee has to timely apply / submit their NTN Certificate / Number for processing of tax
returns etc.
d. The income tax liability arising out of your compensation / commissions / incentives from the
company, will be your exclusive responsibility.
e. You will hereby authorize the company to make income tax withholdings from your salary,
as may be required under the income tax law and other local regulations.

4. Commissions & Incentives:

a. Sales Commissions - Existing Departments:

Depending on a nature of sales type, a 0% (minimum) to a 0% (maximum) commission or


incentive will be offered to the employee.

b. Sales Commissions – New Departments:

Depending on sales type and subject to employees work engagements / percentage ratio / &
participations in project assignment, a maximum of 0% commission or incentive will be offered
to the employee.

5. Fringe Benefits & Entitlements:

a. Brand new ‘Official Mobile & Laptop’, as per company policy, will be purchased for the
employee. The employee will be allowed to settle the loan amount within the span of their first
year period, and can retain the items under their possession after clearance. *Conditions Apply.
b. A new or second hand company car will be purchased for the employee, ranging between 1300 –
1600 CC (Toyota Corolla or Honda City). The employee will be allowed to settle the loan amount
within the span of two years period, and can retain / transfer the car under his possession / name
after clearance. *Conditions Apply.
c. Fully / partially funded ‘Domestic & International Travel’ (All Inclusive) tours / trips will be
offered / entitled to employee in respect of official requirements / duties, such as (Business /
Inspection / Exploration), aspects. *Conditions Apply.
d. Fully / partially funded ‘Domestic & International Training’s / Certifications / Work Shops / &
Exploration Field Visits’, will be arranged for the employee both in-site & on-site, to upgrade and
enhance employee’s skill set and experiences. *Conditions Apply.
e. Increments will be effective with no discrimination on annual basis (Fiscal Year – 1st Jul to 30th
Jun), as per calendar year considering performance and financial health of the company.

f. Evaluating on overall performance, successful execution of assignments of their respective
department, meeting the parameters of the milestones and cross evaluation of revenues generated,
annual bonus will be granted to the employee. *Conditions Apply.

6. Probation Period:
You will be on probation for a period of three (3) months, on satisfactory completion of the
probationary period, your appointment will be confirmed in writing, otherwise may be extended
as per the situation.

7. Working Hours:

Working hours may be subject to change from time to time as determined by the Management
according to the season or situation. In certain scenario, you may be asked to work online from
your home. However, your working hours shall be as follows:

Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 00:00 AM till 00:00 PM

Friday: 00:00 PM till 00:00 PM

*Lunch Break: 01 Hour / Prayer Break: As per actual schedule.

8. Leaves:

a. During the employment, you will be eligible per annum, up to 00 casual leaves, 00 sick
leaves and 00 annual leaves.
b. All the leave applications are to be scheduled and approved by the management as per
relevant leave policy.

9. Medical Fitness:

Your appointment is subject to you being declared medically fit by any registered medical
practitioner on the company’s standard format, before or at the time of your joining.

10. Transfer:

At the sole discretion of the Management, you may be transferred to any subsidiary or associate
company or branch office (Within Pakistan or Abroad), to perform such duties, as may be
directed by the Management.

11. Termination:

This employment may be terminated by either party; no obligation will be imposed to submit
resignation / termination of employment.

a. Notice Period: During the probation period, two weeks and after confirmation one month, by
either party.
b. Form of Notice: In writing (Hard or Soft Form).
c. In case of resignation or termination, full protocols of cooperation to be exercised between
both parties to transfer all the required information, documents etc. to your Line Manager,
before your departure.
d. The company will provide your clearance certificate at the time of the final settlement.
12. Termination due to Misconduct:

a. Dismissal for misconduct, for instance, insubordination, disobedience, theft, fraud,


dishonesty etc. may be effected and applied within 24 Hours’ notice.
b. You will not be entitled to claim any compensation, damages or payment from the company
for or in respect of such dismissal.

13. Privacy & Confidentiality:

a. During the contract period or after its termination, you will not disclose any information,
relating to the Company or its Customers and will not divulge any of Company’s business
ideas and secrets that you may have obtained during the course of your contract.
b. You will not act in any manner contrary to the interest of the Company.
c. Further, you will not accept any other employment, whether part time or otherwise, with any
other person or company, directly or indirectly during the currency of the contract.

14. Other Terms & Conditions of Employment:

a. In addition to the aforesaid terms & conditions, your employment shall be governed by Labor
Laws of Pakistan.
b. Your employment shall be subject to the relevant company policies, rules, regulations and
practices, either expressed or implied as may be imposed from time to time.
c. Further, the company reserves the right to amend or change its policies, rules & regulations at
its sole discretion and the amended policies, rules & regulation shall take precedence over old
ones.
d. You are required to notify in writing to the Management immediately of any change in your
residential address, phone number or in your civil status.

15. Legal Binding’s & Commitments:

a. No direct contact’s to be made through the employee with any local & international partner /
vendor / stakeholder, while referring Company’s goodwill for the same duration of period as
enumerated above.
b. In a situation that the above are found through any legitimate sources then the Company has a
right to take legal action against you.

hiring needs.
 Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement
organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
 Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture
ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.
 Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management,
and retention.
 Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and
taking action when necessary.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
 Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement.

 Directly oversee Operations, HR, and Accounting, and partner with the CEO on Sales

 Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare
detailed reports, both current and forecasting.
