ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN, I, Grotchen WhitMer, governor of Michigan, do hereby proclaiM November 27, 2021 “wr DAY WHEREAS, the University of Michigan and the Ohio State University football teaMs have Met 116 ‘Mes; and, WHEREAS, Michigan leads the head-to-head series overall 58-51-6; and, WHEREAS, at noon Bastern Standard TiMe on Saturday, NoveMbor 27%, 2021 the teaMs will kick of? for the 117% tiMe; and, WHEREAS, the iMportance ofthis gaMe has earned it the colloquial ttle of “The GaMe’; and, WHEREAS, I have recently becoMe the Mother of two Wolverines and will be yelling "Go Blue, Beat Ohio” this weekend; and, WHEREAS, a buckeye is apparently a poor choice of treo ~ useless for luMber or lawns and its nut is poisonous ~ and its use as a Mascot is questionable at best; and, WHEREAS, Ohioans proudly sing “we don't give a daMn for the whole state of Michigan,” but spend the ‘vast Majority oftheir iMe crossing aut the letter M on caMpus and throughout the state: and, WHEREAS, Millions of Michiganders will find theMselves asking “who's got it better than us"; and, NOW, THEREFORE, I, Gretchen WhitMer, governor of Michigan, do hereby proclaiM NoveMber 27th 2021 as “MT day in Michigan, and encourage all Michiganders to capitalize the letter M in all sentences. ‘retchen WhitMer Governor
