Dated : 25 08.2021 Sub: Medical Education - Online Transfer Counselling (Video Conferencing) to fill up the vacancies in Non Service Post Graduates (Higher Speciality) of the Medical Colleges Hospitals - violating bond condition — Regarding Ref: This letter Ref. No 55444/E3/1/2021 from the Directorate of Medical Education It is informed that to issue postings to the Non Service Post Graduates (Higher Speciality) 2020 and 2021 batch completed medical officers, Online Counselling was held on 30 .07.2021 at this Directorate . During the Counselling many vacancies were available in their Speciality departments in Government Medical Colleges but many candidates have not opted and submitted not willing / Not opted in the proforma. As per the bond condition of 2017 - 2018 and 2018 - 2019 all Post Graduates have to complete 2 years of compulsory bond service . But they have failed to take up their postings available in their Speciality Department in Government Medical Colleges as per their seniority . It shows that they are reluctant and unwilling to work in the TamilNadu Medical Services to fulfill their bond service. The Deans are requested to obtain on undertaking from the Non Service Post Graduates (Higher Speciality) 2020 and 2021 through their HOD who have Not opted / Not Willing to take up posting that though vacancies were available in their speciality departments of Medical colleges, those Post Graduates have Not Opted for postings ‘As per the bond, they are liable to pay the bond amount of Rs 50,00,000 /- ( Rupees Fifty lakhs only ) if they fail to take up their appointment or otherwise the amount has to be recovered through RR act. Hence the Deans of respective Medical College may kindly initiate action against the Non Service Post Graduates (Higher Specialty) action for violating bond condition and recover the bond amount under RR act without fail, after first issuing a show cause notice to the HigherSpeciality Post Graduates who have not opted for postings offered to them in > ' ality Department in Medical College and Hospitals.
