because most of the people are Roman Catholic,
meaning that in almost every location of the country,

1. I I just met someone and I want to make a good impression, I would start a
conversation with them about the type of food of Mexico, and which one would
they recommend me to try.
2. There are some gestures wich are considered rude, like making a V with your
fingers, or walking with your hands in your pocket. Also, at the moment of talking,
you should not walk away because it is considered very rude.
3. Anger emotions are acceptable to be shown on public, but they can often be
considered rude. Touching and affection is also very acceptable, and it is okay to do
it in public.
4. For men, being groomed well groomed is very important, and for women, dressing
formally is also very important, usually, dressing with jeans and a casual attire is not
acceptable.
5. Usual men are treated differently than some, and the culture is more of a Macho
culture. Jobs are impacted by this because women are expected to be house wives,
and not to work, so men have a higher percentage of job opportunity. But this is
only in rural areas, in the cities the women hold a variety of jobs such as Doctors,
lawyers, nurses, teachers. Foreign women are expected to fit in with the locals but
they are also generally respectful of people’s differences as long as they are not
forced upon the locals.
6. Some of the best activities that you can do on Mexico is to go hiking, try all kinds of
food, go to a Lucha libra match, go to the Chapultepec Castle, go to the ancient
ruins or a tour about the ancient native tribes, visit the coast, like Cancun, and
finally, visit museums.
7. A natural hero from Mexico is Frida Kahlo, she was constantly
overlooked society's standards when she portrayed herself in her own
way and prevented her agony from serving as a limitation by using it as
a strength. Another hero from Mexico is Benito Juarez, who was the
first president of Mexico who was of Indigenous origin.
8. Family in Mexico has retained the features of father dominance,
masculine superiority, strict disciplining of children, separation of the
sex roles, and emphasis on submission and obedience to authority
figures, which also characterize the Mexican family.
9. Houses in Mexico can vary from old country haciendas and
colonial homes to rustic adobe ranches and tiny casitas. Also,
traditional Mexican homes are typically painted in a palette of vibrant
colors.
10. The day shift The work day for an average Mexican worker is
and it can go up to a 14-hour work day, which would begin at 6:00 am
and end at 8:00 pm. The Nightshift: In the other hand, the night shift
for Mexico's workers happens within the 10-hour window of time
between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am.
11. Mexico's most popular sports are baseball, soccer, jai-alai,
swimming, and volleyball. Also, a really popular activity to do in Mexico
is to watch bullfights.
12. Mexico's public healthcare operates through the Instituto
Mexicano de Seguro Social (IMSS) and Seguro Popular systems. These
cover patients for most medical services and prescription drugs.

13. In Mexico, basic education is normally divided into three levels, these levels are primary school
(ages six to 12), junior high school (ages 12 to 15) and high school (ages 15 to 18). Throughout all
three levels of schooling, attendance is compulsory, which means that it is obligatory. Also, public
schools in Mexico are free of charge and secular.
14. The first holiday in Mexico is the New Year's day, which is meant to celebrate the start ofa new
year. Then comes the Constitution day, then comes the Benito Juarez's Birth, which is meant to
celebrate his birth because he is considered a hero, after that comes Good Friday, which
commemorates Jesus' resurrection, then comes the Labor Day, then the Mexican Legislative
Election, then the Grito De Dolores, which is the day that celebrates the independence of Mexico,
then comes the Revolution day, and finally Christmas.
15. One of the most popular food in Mexico is Chilaquiles, they are made by lightly frieing corn
tortillas and cutting them into quarters, they are then topped with green or red salsa (the red is
slightly spicier). Scrambled or fried eggs and pulled chicken are usually added on top, as well as
cheese and cream
16. In Mexico, mostly everyone is hispanic, but there is actually an indigenous culture which is
Mestizo, this indigenous culture is the mix from the Spanish and the Amerindian.
