Write an essay including 250 words about the topic” Technological Achievements and Devices in our
Modern World”. The discrepancy in the number of words used can be 10% more or less.

The essay should contain the ideas below. Please,follow the guideline so that you can be graded with
the optimal number of points. The essay should look like this:

Title with Capital Initials

Introduction: Introduce the topic with some general ideas about the technological devices used
by people.

Paragraph 1: Write about technological devices used in a household as well as about their
function.

Paragraph 2: Write about technological devices used in an office as well as about their function.

Paragraph 3: Write about technological devices used in transportation as well as about their
function.

Paragraph 4: Write about technological devices used in entertainment as well as about their

function.

Paragraph 5: Write about the advantages of all the technological devices they provide us with.

Paragraph 6: Write about their possible disadvantages.

Ending: Make a conclusion and /or tell about your opinion about the devices and the
technological development our world has been going through for some time now. You can also make
some predictions concerning the future.

The aspects of evaluation will be as follows:

Content: maximum 5 points

Cohesion and structure of the essay: maximum 3 points

Language accuracy: maximum 5 points

Vocabulary: maximum 5 points

Style: maximum 2 points
