To Be A Lawyer

Based on Law no. 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates, lawyers are people whose profession is to
provide legal services, both inside and outside the courts whose work areas are throughout the territory of
the Republic of Indonesia. In short, lawyers can be said to be legal experts who have the authority to
provide advice or defend cases in court. In the financial sector, lawyers are needed who really understand
finances and how business transactions work. Because, the suggestions or suggestions they give in every
transaction, will be reflected in the company's books. At this time, whether it's individuals, organizations,
companies, schools, foundations, or small and medium business entrepreneurs and others, it is very
important to understand how important it is to have a lawyer who provides legal services and establishes a
legal service partnership or retainer with the lawyer or advocate. The question is, is it important and
useful to use legal services from a lawyer? the answer is very important, because having a permanent
lawyer whether we are individuals, organizations, companies, schools, foundations or small and medium
business entrepreneurs and others is to protect and guarantee all aspects of our law as legal subjects when
carrying out activities in this Indonesian state. Of course, it is also certain that in the form of business or
other things we will be faced with laws that can unconsciously cause harm to the legal subject.

As a lawyer it is important to understand past legal cases. because of the origin of the
legal system in a particular society, and compare between different laws because they are limited
by time difference. The history of this law is mainly related to the rise of a thought in law. In
study The history of law emphasizes that the law of a nation is a expression of the soul
concerned and therefore always the one different from the others. This difference lies in the
growth characteristics experienced by each legal system. When it is said that the system the law
grows, then what is meant is a continuous relationship between the current system and the past.
Moreover, it is acceptable that the law now comes from the previous or the law in times past,
then it means that the current law is formed by the processes that took place in the past.

Here the initial period with the belief that the substance of the people's law that had been
colonized will be able to be fully appointed and developed into a substance national law. But in
reality it ends with a confession that the realization process is not as simple as the strategic
models in doctrine. The legal system requires long-term planning as a comprehensive
development direction and priority that needs to be carried out gradually to create a just and
prosperous society as mandated by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This is
important because the amendments to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia have
resulted in changes in management development, namely by not making the Outlines of State
Policy (GBHN) as a guideline for the preparation of national development plans.
 To become a lawyer there are several stages that we must go through first. Starting to
prepare for our future career at a young age, during high school, is critical to future success. we
know what we will study at university will be more focused, goal oriented and organized.
Lawyers have a reputation for being the most well-read and educated professionals.

to university, we can choose to enter law education. we can go to law school. Generally, we will
complete 4 (four) years of study or 8 (eight) semesters. With careful planning, we can complete
the program in 3.5 (three and a half) years or 7 (seven) semesters.

After graduating and successfully receiving a Bachelor of Laws degree, you can move on
to the next stage of training. If you intend to become a lawyer in the future, you need to take the
Special Education for the Advocate Profession and if you have plans to become a notary, you
need to take a Masters in Notary. This education has been developed to help aspiring lawyers
receive the relevant legal skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.

creativity and unconventional thinking are important qualities that some of the best
lawyers possess. The solution is not always simple, therefore a new perspective is needed. Legal
education may take time but the possibility of saving honest-hearted clients and preventing bad
things from happening in this world is well worth the effort. To become a lawyer we have to go
through the stages. not a little and not a moment but produce results in accordance with what we
have been trying. if we take it seriously. A lawyer also performs various tasks related to legal
matters and their handling. Lawyers can provide consulting services, negotiations as well as in
making trade contracts, making other legal documents such as letters of agreement and wills,
resolving disputes by deliberation, and so on. A person who wants to become a lawyer can
pursue higher professional education in Law or a Law degree.
