About the product - OYO:

OYO is an Indian multinational OTA, homes and living spaces. Founded in 2013 by Ritesh Agarwal,
OYO initially consisted mainly of budget hotels. The start-up expanded globally with thousands of
hotels, vacation homes and millions of rooms across more than 80 nations. According to their
website, they aim to maximise revenue, to build an online presence across channels, to reach more
guests and optimise experience, to enable hassle-free operations and to build a brand loved by both
travellers and city dwellers.

Problem statement:

Your task is to perform the teardown of the OYO app. You are expected to perform a detailed
analysis of the app and identify retention & drop-off points. Additionally, give critique suggestions
that will improve one or more of the following metrics

1. User engagement
2. User acquisition
3. User retention
4. Increase revenue

Submission requirements:

The teams need to submit a deck (.pptx or .pdf) and the number of slides should not exceed 10,
excluding the title slide and appendix.

The submission deck should include (but need not be limited to) the following headers:

1. Product features and improvements


2. Customer journey
3. User persona identification
4. Success Metrics

Evaluation criteria:

The submissions will be evaluated on the following parameters:

• Metric based critique


• Creative and innovative solutions
• Wireframe and mock-ups preferred
• Rationale for choosing each feature

Deadline:

The case solution deck needs to be submitted on or before 30 November 2021 11:59:59.
