I am writing to express my interest in the ALDI’s student internship. I am self-motivated and

progress driven, with an extensive background in store operations and management. I have
obtained and executed strategies and skills that I believe will bring value to ALDI. Just a few of
my skills include:

Working at Walmart and FedEx Ground has allowed me to expand on my personal growth by
learning different ways of how stores and companies are managed by working hand in hand with
store leaders. I was able to learn about myself as a person, my competence level, and
professionalism in the work field, by having to adapt to a different work environment. When I
worked in Walmart and FedEx ground, there was no such thing as one set place that you work in
for the rest of your time, but rather depends on the work that needs to be fulfilled. One time
when I was working in FedEx I was asked to help one of the busiest belts, that receive around
100,000 of packages on daily bases, but I was willing to go and learn how they operate. Which
was physically demanding. However, I learned how to cultivate and maintain positive
relationships.
Some of the things that I loved about my recent job with FedEx Ground is the teamwork, culture
or environment, and the satisfaction of getting work done when facing pressure under a short
time. Nothing is ever rewarding than knowing that you have completed the job to the best of
your ability and with integrity. During my time at FedEx ground, I was able to develop an
excellent foundation of work ethics that I plan on carrying out to ALDI’s district management
team just with it’s unique set of values that could be perfectly adopted. Some of my work ethic
characteristics includes integrity, discipline, dedication, professionalism, responsibility,
productivity, reliability, and cooperation these are very prominent in the work force, and I
believe that it will be a perfect fit for the company, and it will help with the continuous growth in
ALDI’s performance going forward. My previous will work experience will defiantly go hands
in hands with ALDI because I know that now I have a better understanding for any work
understanding, self-confidence, maturity, and better self-understanding and this internship would
help me explore more options in the field and personal self-developments as well the growth of
the company. I would appreciate interning with ALDI and contribute to the ongoing growth and
success of one of America’s best grocers as an intern.
