System Requirements

Social Security Management System (SSMS)

The SSMS must have the under-listed inbuilt functionalities.


• Manage Records of members’ biodata with appropriate validations in performing Inputs,
generating Outputs, Modification and Deletion of records.
• Manage financial data with appropriate validations enabling Contribution Inputs,
Outputs, Modification and Deletion.
• Enforce appropriate privileges for active and non- active members.
• Enforce appropriate payment restrictions based on age (to block/protect the printing of
statements once the member has reached statutory retirement age of 60 (as at now), this
excludes the IICF and special arrangement).
• Enforce appropriate restrictions to avoid payments for employees below the age 18
except IICF.
• Permit remote web access (via internet)/USSD for employer/employee contribution
profile, employee statements and claims request
• Full Integration with the Accounting Module, and Benefits Systems to avoid any form of
record/payment duplication across multiple system(s)
• Obtain financial/contribution profile of employees
• Track employee movement between companies using their employer membership
number
• Receive online payments
• Generate reports for employers’ outstanding contributions, financial status with inbuilt
automated mechanism to notify/send alerts etc …
• Monitoring of claims and claim requests throughout the claim process
• Inbuilt capability to Print membership cards
• Process Claim Application for all fund types
• Automate Benefit Eligibility check

• The system should be able to merge duplicate accounts.
• Manage concurrent employment.
