Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy refers to our responsibility toward our
customers, our suppliers, our staff, and to every citizen of Baguio City.
The Social Responsibility of our Company is to make our customers safe and comfortable while they are
shopping, today there is Pandemic and to help the government reduce the number of covid cases.
We, in COROCERY, are committed to ensuring that any business undertakings are conducted as ethically
as possible by following the below policy.
COROCERY is an online application used to shop for your grocery needs. COROCERY provides a
service wherein clients can order their grocery needs online. It has its own physical store that primarily
sells food, either fresh or preserved. In other countries supermarkets and convenience shops are
sometimes described as grocery businesses, groceries or simply grocers. Small grocery stores that mainly
sell the food products that you have not bought enough, and small grocery stores that predominantly sell
prepared food, such as candy and snacks, are known as convenience shops or delicatessens. In our
business plan we have proposed a grocery store and its name as Corocery mart. We established this kind
of business because of what we are experiencing today. We have also created an application to facilitate
the purchase process of our product called Corocery app.

We should pull someone aside and talk to them one-on-one, in this way, they may comprehend an
instruction or a communication better. Make eye contact with employees to ensure that the information
gets through to their head. When communicating something, make sure to repeat it, but also avoid
unnecessary repetition. Encouraging feedback from the staff is also a must. We must allow for comments
so we can assess the effectiveness of our communication style. It will also allow us to know if our
message was well received. Lastly, to avoid being taken for granted, project confidence and earnestness.
When staff members perceive any inconsistency or lack of sincerity in communication, they are more
inclined to dismiss or reject the information.
Customers
The priority of our to company is to make our customers safe and comfortable while they were shopping.
Our business is created for them so that they don't have to worry and be scared every time they need to
buy something, because of what we are facing right now. We will do our best to make them satisfy in our
service and we will make sure that the their information will be safe and also to their orders.
Our company focuses on customer satisfaction. We make sure that our customers are aware of
what they are buying and to protect them from goods and services that are hazardous to life and
property.
We improved our customer satisfaction by listening to our dear customers carefully in order to
give them what they want, we also need to be proactive and especially understand our customers
Our company ensures the safety and quality of our services by taking good care of the products
we deliver. Our customer can track where exactly their order is. We ensure clear communication
with our customer to provide great services.
We have our official website where the customer can communicate with our riders directly, also
we confirm the personal information and address of our valued customers to avoid interrupting
and delaying the service and lastly, we are very approachable, active and attentive.
Suppliers’ Standards
Our company is committed to ensure and maintain good relationship among our suppliers. We look to
participate in business with suppliers who share these qualities and hold fast to the base prerequisites laid
out in this Supplier Standard. We anticipate that all suppliers should conform to sensible Filipino people
group guidelines of ethics and business practices.
Our company will use local suppliers due to the fact that they are regularly more receptive than to
those suppliers who are farther away. They can deliver items faster, and it is a lot simpler for a
supplier to facilitate a shipment across the neighborhood than around the world.
As we have mentioned earlier: We will make sure to maintain good quality relationship to our
dear suppliers. In the contrary, our company will do its best to pay our suppliers ahead of time
based on our agreed terms.
We will guarantee that our suppliers has a designated CSR policy in place, for both companies to
have a healthy and effective working environment

Having a better communication to our suppliers helps us to gain more trust from them and have a
good relationship at the same time.
Supermarkets play a vital role regarding environmental issues like: deforestation, water waste, food
waste, mode of transport and etc. (Benz, 2009). Hence, our company will ensure to maintain an
environment friendly for the safety of our employees and our customers.
In order for us to reduce waste and protect the environment at the same time, our company will
provide trash bins for paper, plastics, recycled materials and etc.
When it comes to water usage, our company will encourage our employees to save water and
provide faucets that are not wasteful. Moreover, for our men employees we will provide and
encourage them to use the no-flash urinals in their comfort room. While for the lady’s, we will
provide paper towels rather than bidets.
Our company will prioritize using recycled products and products that are not harmful to our
environment.
Our company will do its best to use eco-friendly transport for our delivery as much as possible
like: bicycles, scooters, electric motorcycles/cars or eco-friendly gas motorcycles/cars. For our
employees, we will provide shuttle buses around the place for us to minimize carbon dioxide and
other greenhouse gases that the cars produced.
Community Engagement
Giving importance to the local community will help our company to gain trust and love from the people.
In addition, most of the supermarket’s customers are primarily residents within the area (Steeneken, F. &
Ackley, D., 2012).
Our company will provide programs to the local public schools like: feeding programs, giving
school supplies and giving gift certificate to graduates.
If there are any activities in the area like festivals, clean up drive projects, and etc., our company
will make sure to be involved on those.
Our company will prioritize hiring employees from the locals due to the fact that they have a lot
of advantages like: coming early at work, no need for transportation and they have the knowledge
about our place that may help our company to determine what are the locals want.
Our company may donate and support community investment and educational programs. Our Grocery are
the ends of a vast network of producers, manufacturers and suppliers that generally coordinate the supply
of food available for sale in a given location, mostly with the sort of goal of maximizing profits in a pretty
big way.
Our company will conduct a program that will improve our engagement to those in charge in
their place to give our donations to those in need such as:
