The Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) by IATA
Member Agency A billing settlement plan (bsp) is the central point through which data ans funds flow between travel agents and airlines. The system is designed to simplify the selling, reporting and remitting procedures of IATA accredited agencies on behalf of BSP airlines.
A BSPlink is the user interface for the
airline companies and the travel agencies in the BSP process.
Procedures for Airline Ticket Payment through
the Banking System
1. The agent processes all sales and refunds at
the end of the reporting period through the BSPlink. 2. The Data Processing Centre captures the tickets and refinds information from data files that have been transmitted by BSPlink. 3.
