SYNOPSIS

Cady Heron, a teen, was schooled in Africa by her scientist parents. Cady finally gets
to experience public school when her family relocates to the suburbs of Illinois, and
she receives a crash course in the harsh, unspoken norms of popularity that divide
her classmates into tightly knit cliques. Cady finds herself unintentionally in the good
graces of an exclusive group of cool teenagers called "the Plastics," but she quickly
discovers how her shallow circle of new pals got this nickname.
