I. The Institution

National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth. It is
attained by developing the ethics of service and patriotism specifically designed to enhance the youth’s active contribution to the general
welfare. NSTP 2 is a continuation of NSTP 1 designed to train, encourgae and help students to plan, implement,a nad evaluate community
Course Description projects and activities. This will contribute to the general welfrae and betterment of the life of community members that will lead to community
development. It is intended for improving health, education, safety, livelihood, environment, entrepreneurship, arts, recreation, morals of the
citizenry and other social welfare services.
Student Outcomes (SOs) Familiarize students with the NSTP law, its concepts, legal implications and its implementation at Palawan State University;
Addressed by the Course Coordinate and conduct NSTP activities and projects that contribute to the betterment of life of members of the community;
Train, mobilize and involve students in activities and projects contributory to the development of the immediate locality or community;
and
Produce students that are civic-conscious, service-oriented and with enhanced intellectual, moral, spiritual, technical and social
wellbeing.
• Determine their vital role in nation building and promote civic consciousness among them (Knowledge)
