Medication  Remind to take the prescribed medicine

o Omeprazole- is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux


disease (GERD) and other conditions caused by excess stomach
acid.
o Cetirizine HCL- is used to temporarily relieve the symptoms of
hay fever (allergy to pollen, dust, or other substances in the air)
and allergy to other substances
o Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS)- is recommended for patients with
moderate dehydration caused by high fever and vomiting.
Exercise  Instruct the patient to have walking or lightweight exercise or also free
hand exercises.
 Advised the client to avoid strenuous exercise.
 Advised the client to perform range of motions and repetitive body
movements for promotion of optimum health.
Treatment  Instruct the patient and family to have a complete bed rest.
 Instruct the patient and the family to Increase fluid intake.
 Instruct the patient to follow advice of physician or any other health care
provider and continue oral medications.
 Instruct relatives to report immediately to the physician if any abnormal
events happened to the patient.
 Instruct relatives to record any progress to the patient’s status.
Health  Discuss to the patient and to family member the possible source of
Teaching infection of the disease.
 Educate the patient and the family member on how to eliminate those
vectors.
 Never stock water in a container without cover.
 Gallon, containers and tires must have proper way of disposal.
 Use insecticide at home to kill or reduce the mosquito
 Encourage the family of the patient to clean the surroundings to destroy
the breeding places of mosquito
Out-patient  Instruct the patient and family members to have a check-up or consult a
physician on a regular basis to monitor the patient's condition and detect
recurrences and other complications that may arise.
Diet  Eat Healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables and meat
 Increase fluid intake
 Instruct the family to give food rich in proteins.
 Advise the client to avoid dark color foods.
 Advise the patient to eat green leafy vegetables, rich in iron and vitamin C
diet to regain strength and boost her immune system.
Spiritual  Encourage the client and relatives to always pray for fast recovery and
attend to the holy mass every Sunday.
