ANOMIC APHASIA
Anomic aphasia,
commonly
known as
nominal aphasia,
is a disorder
which causes
problems with
recognizing
words or naming
objects which
the subjects
should know
well. (Cafruz,
2013)

aphasia is categorized by
difficulties in re-calling words
or names of people, place,

Difficulties in anomic aphasia
1. Semantic paraphasias : errors in
word meaning
2. Phonological paraphasias : errors in
word form
3. Neologisms : unintelligible words
4. Superordinates and generalisation
5. Circumlocutions
recurring utterances : repetitive sounds
words or phrases.
