La Quinta Montalvo is located in Ficoa, Ambato.It is a place of great historical and patrimonial
importance for the city. It is a very nice and cozy place to learn a little more about the history
of Juan Montalvo. Outside there is a pool called "Desires", located in a small corner of the
Quinta decorated in its gardens and surroundings. In the place there is an atmosphere of
peace and tranquility, surrounded by trees and several explanatory posters with quotes from
Juan Montalvo.

The living room of my house is very cozy, because the armchairs are very comfortable.

It is more than 200 years old, with an area of one hectare, which makes it one of Cervantes'
favorite places, where they take advantage of the beautiful inspiration of the Quinta and
create some of their great works. Within this site is the house that belonged to this illustrious
writer. Inside it has 3 rooms that display suitable furniture of the time and important objects
that are interspersed between a piano, bed, tables and graphics of one of the greatest writers
of our city and the country. Outside there is a pool called "Desires", located in a small corner of
the Quinta decorated in its gardens and surroundings. In the place there is an atmosphere of
peace and tranquility, surrounded by trees and several explanatory posters with quotes from
Juan Montalvo.

Tiene más de 200 años, con una extensión de una hectárea, lo que lo convierte en uno de los
lugares favoritos de Cervantes, donde aprovechan la hermosa inspiración de la Quinta y crean
algunas de sus grandes obras. Dentro de este sitio se encuentra la casa que perteneció a este
ilustre escritor. En su interior cuenta con 3 salas que exhiben mobiliario adecuado de la época
y objetos importantes que se intercalan entre un piano, cama, mesas y gráficos de uno de los
más grandes escritores de nuestra ciudad y el país. En el exterior hay una piscina llamada
"Desires", ubicada en un pequeño rincón de la Quinta decorado en sus jardines y alrededores.
En el lugar hay un ambiente de paz y tranquilidad, rodeado de árboles y varios carteles
explicativos con citas de Juan Montalvo.
